A very old yet unissued wartime flashlight / torch in good working order.

It has a cheaply made crackle finish body with khaki endcaps.  The original MES bulb is of the 1930's flat 'S' filament type, protected by a circle of glass.  The battery compartment shows signs of age and storage yet is otherwise fine.  The battery spring is good, the sliding switch works.

These may have been issued to Home Guard troops, ARP or other domestic personnel.

Uses two 'C' cells.
The bulb has been tested at 2VDC from a laboratory power supply.

Will be very well packaged for postage.

All items are USED and will show signs of USE.
