- Accurate Pictures / Videos were taken in an Office setting that has good white and warm yellow lights , NO photoshop or Color Editing was done ( Note : precious stones reveal slightly different colors in different lighting conditions like sunlight , yellow / white lights etc , this is a natural occurrence , so the stone might look a bit different in Outdoor Sunlight etc , i did my best to show the item as if you were seeing it in person )
STONE DETAILS
Certification : IDL ( international diamond laboratories ) is a European Belgium company and the best gem lab in the heart of Dubai who specialize in precious colored stones. They are one of the best and most reliable gem labs in the area with Branches and offices in several parts of the world ( check my photos for reference )
Origin : 100% Guaranteed from Zambia Africa, one of the best sources for high end Emeralds.
Carat Weight : 3.42 ( regarded as a medium size for this quality )
Clarity : Fully Transparent and Crystal Clean like glass, SI2 - SI3 , Clearly visible natural flaws can be seen but they're not that ugly ( everyone has a different opinion ) . Very few black / brown sediment impurities / natural flaws etc can be seen under very close inspection but are hard to see. This is regarded as a good - very good clarity grade for emeralds. A few White Spots / natural flaws are seen on the outer rim / border of the stone that shouldn't look too bad after setting. If the natural flaws were less visible then this stone would increase a lot in price.
Color : No Color Zoning , Even color , One of the best color values, Intense Rich and Pure Green with Very Good Saturation of color. Luster is not the issue with this stone, but it lacks a bit of Sparkle / Fire / Brilliance. Some would consider this as almost Vivid Green.
Cut : Very Good, this stone is relatively flat with a larger face. the facets are very good, the body color and inner glow of the stone really stand out nicely.
Resale Potential : Rare, Popular, and Desirable high quality stones such as this have the potential of good resale return if you ever find a way to resell it in your country through auctions, private collectors, mineral expos etc. Colored stones will never resell as well as gold obviously , but you can get a good amount of money back based on where you resell your stone. Quality Rating : Good - Very Good ( I'm being very conservative with my estimate because some would consider this stone to be more valuable than it is )
Enhancements / Gemstone Treatments : 99% of All desirable very good / high end emeralds have Minor to Moderate colorless oil / resin enhancements to improve the clarity value of the stone in order to reduce the visibility of natural flaws that we can see with the naked eye. This process is well known and accepted in the trade and is mentioned on all International gem lab reports. Never buy an emerald that has " Significant " oiling / evidence of enhancements mentioned on the Gem Lab Report because it greatly reduces the value of the stone.
