Extraordinary 1963 Beatles FULLY SIGNED Autograph Display and ORIGINAL TYPE 1 PHOTOGRAPH of the band’s iconic performance on October 13, 1963, at the London Palladium —the performance that is credited with marking the birth of “Beatlemania!”

The display contains the following:

1. Impeccably autographed album page from early 1963, cleanly and boldly signed by a young John Lennon, Paul McCartney and George Harrison. McCartney added, “Best Wishes (THE BEATLES)” above the signatures, immediately setting this example above many others. As Beatles items are rarely found with such clean, legible, and bold signatures, this pre-superstardom set is truly exceptional.

A single inscription added by a member of the band to a set of signatures is rare and extremely desirable amongst collectors. Any inscription from McCartney is, of course, even rarer, especially when it comes to his addition of the band name. A collector would be lucky to get their hands on an item with either a “Best Wishes” from McCartney, or his addition of “Beatles.” Here, McCartney certainly took some time and care signing/penning his inscriptions—time which would be in very short supply soon enough!

**ADDITIONAL SIGNATURES — The verso of the page is also signed by 3 members of The Drifters: Hank Marvin, Bruce Welch, and Brian Bennett**

2. Newspaper clipping signed by Ringo Starr in 1963, measuring approx. 2 ½ x 3 ¼".

3. ORIGINAL TYPE 1 Photograph capturing the Fab Four’s fabled “Sunday Night at the London Palladium” concert on October 13, 1963. Titled, “Beatles Are Here” by the photographer (information below), this 7 ½ x 9 ½", Type 1 photograph captures the boys playing center-stage on the night that is generally accepted by experts to have marked the start of the phenomenon of Beatlemania, changing the world forever. After this show, the lives of the four young men from Liverpool, and music as the world knew it, would never be the same. (Beatles Bible discusses the show and its effects in detail).
