On offer is a Modern Chinese Hetian (Nephrite ) Jade Brush Washer. It is approximately 13 cm long, 12.3 cm wide and 3.3 cm tall at the widest points. It weighs 354.42 grams (lease allow for some deviation on the read as the scales are not super accurate as the lab one). Quite finely made with a good amount of details. This was recently sourced here on eBay from a new Jade merchant in China. It was quite risky to be honest as the price was way too good to be true but it actually worked out really well! I requested a certificate for an extra charge. The result is "和田玉" that stands for Hetian (Nephrite) Jade. A quite nice brush washer that can be used for its intended purpose, alongside being a very nice decorative item.
Condition Report: This brush washer is in excellent / pristine condition as expected from a recently made item. No blemishes whatsoever. Please note that the surface is not entirely flat and there are some surface dents caused by the making process. These are not blemishes but present in all similar items. Please see photo 9. The colour is predominately a mid shade green with a mixture of red/orange/russet and other shades of green. Quite attractive combination of colours I have to say. Your typical amount of Hetian Jade smoothness is present. In some spots, the texture is smoother.
