Vintage WW2 Royal Navy Ships Anchor Light, Lantern Alderson & Gyde - Birmingham

Anchor light - All around white light.

Dated 1943 to the glass fresnel lens, the bottom of the burner and to the front brass identification plaque.

Tin metal, painted with a bronze coloured Hammerite paint, which could be stripped by the purchaser, if required. 

The brass identification plaque to the front, which is now rather worn, stated: Anchor Patt 59021, Alderson & Gyde Ltd, Birmingham.

Original oil burner. 

44cm high (not including the top and base loop handles) x 21cm 

Good condition for age, with some wear, don'ts, marks and tarnishing. No cracks to the lens.
