In the late '80s, Adrenalin O.D. rocked the scene with their second album, "Humongousfungusamongus," and hit the road for a wild nationwide tour. In '87, they landed in Washington DC at DC Space where I snagged this epic HumoungousFungusAmongus tee.
The front of this black tee is a vibrant neon orange masterpiece featuring the band's iconic logo in a funky font, sandwiched between the album name and a larger-than-life cartoon character. On the flip side, a white Godzilla looms over a silhouette of the band, engulfing them in neon yellow chaos. The artwork is so rad that it might've been custom-made just for this tee!
As for the artists behind this wicked design, it's a bit of a mystery. My hunch is that guitarist Bruce Wingate, a visual artist too, might've had a hand in it. The tee itself is in top-notch condition despite the missing tag (probably snipped for comfort). I'd bet it's crafted from a high-quality blend of 50% Cotton and 50% Poly, given how well it's stood the test of time.
