1993 Press Photo View from inside the mosquito neeting at Hermann Grima house

This is an original press photo. The view from inside the mosquito netting in the front bedroom of the Hermann Grima house, one of the changes made historically for the warm weather, fruit cordials and the fruit press used to make them out in the kitchen. Whole leaves of tobacco were used interlayered with the silk curtains when they were stored for the summer. A view on the back sitting room of the house, supposedly recreating a men's card game, when the women would have all been on the Gulf Coast for the summer, I don't think this works but it's pretty. Photo measures 8.25 x 10 inches. Photo is dated 7-22-1993.
