1. Why it always show ERROR or ----(no readings)?

MEMS technology provides precise measuring result, but it will not accurate when angle gauge tilts diagonally over 30 degrees. So it tells ERROR or ---- to remind people to use it in a accurate way. Angle gauge with no ERROR indication will not give a correct measurement.

2. Do I need to recalibrate this angle gauge? How to recalibrate it?

GemRed angle gauges are well-calibrated from our factory and lab. You can use it out-of-box. If you want to recalibrate it, please refer to the video in the product page.

3. Does it has magnets on all four sides?

It only has magnets on the bottom. This angle gauge only work with the bottom. Other sides will not give accurate measurement.
