This LED Bulb will work very well on Singer Sewing Machine which use a Bayonet-mount bulb,such as the Singer 221, 221K, 222, 301, 301A, 401, 401A, 403, 404, 500, 503, 503A,

Since the original Singer 15w light bulb was manufactured to be quite dim,
probably to prevent overheating the sewing machine, it was replaced
on this machine by a much cooler, white, LED bulb which uses the same bayonet-mount socket.
