Antique/Vintage Primitive Wooden Ridged Butter Hands/Scotch paddles- dating to 1800s- HARD TO FIND! The paddles each measure approximately 3” wide x 9” long...perfect for any kitchenware or primitive decorating display!

Also called Scotch hands they were designed to form butter into balls or other shapes and push out any liquid during the process. Gently contoured handles (quite smooth to the touch) measure 3.5" long for ease of use. There is No maker's mark indicated.

These are obviously in used condition given their age and while they have the normal scruffs & scratches to the wood, some dark stains here & there from use, and some minor expected age related surface/edge wear, there is NO apparent sign of cracks, holes, missing or repaired parts.

A GREAT addition to any ANTIQUE BUTTER HANDS/KITCHENWARE/PRIMITIVE/COUNTRY DECORATING collection!
