·        Gorgeous, factory painted brass, Union Pacific (UP) #839, FEF-3 Oil 4-8-4 Northern steam locomotive and tender.  This is from Custom Series #53.

·        This Ready-To-Run engine appears to be MINT and does not look to have been run (other than my bench testing) on the track. 

·        In looking this piece over closely, cosmetically I could not find any issues with it at all.  This beautiful engine looks to be perfect in every way.

·        Made in Korea by Samhongsa.

·        Imported by Key Imports.

·        Beautiful detailing on this engine and tender including operating front headlight, whistle, bell, number boards, steps, ladders, railings, pipping, brake hoses, brake shoes and more.

·        It does not appear that couplers have ever been installed on this model.

·        Bench tested, the engine appears to run both forward and back but could probably use some lubrication prior to using. 

·        A small, sealed parts package is included.  It contains small screws, springs and other small parts.  A hex screwdriver for the drive wheel screws is also included.  Finally, a second set of drive wheels (one set, two wheels), with rubber traction tires should you wish to put them on the engine, is also included.

·        Also included is a Key Imports information page describing the history of the Union Pacific class FEF-2 and FEF-3 4-8-4’s.

·        The front engine light does light when going forward.

·        The original box with original foam is in excellent, slightly shopworn condition.
