Disneyland Map Authorized Facsimile Walt Disney Archives 1964 2003 Edison Square

Collectible Disneyland Treasures from Saturday's Toys presents... a classic 1964 Disneyland map... as authorized for this 2003 facsimile reproduction from the Walt Disney Company / Walt Disney Archives.

Features the classic Flying Saucers... the proposed Edison Square / Liberty Street development... the upcoming Haunted Mansion and Pirates of the Caribbean... and all the detail that a Sam McKim map should have.

Produced in this reduced size; 10.5" x 16 1/8".  While the map is intended as a smaller display size of their full-sized 1964 map, some of the smallest typeface used on the original map is impacted by the reduced map size, leaving the attraction descriptions somewhat difficult to read.  Still, the item creates a colorful and instantly recognizable collectible in any setting.

Suitable for framing in this affordable size; as released exclusively by the Walt Disney Company.

Printed on heavy white stock; folded as shown.  As shown... before the 1966 / 1967 remodel of Tomorrowland.

The Opera House is referenced, not as Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln... but as the headquarters for the Mickey Mouse Club.

Saturday’s Toys and Collectibles was founded in 1994 by Southern California author and media historian, Dave Mason. Soon after eBay's launch the following year, Saturday's Toys was among the first online specialists to strategize in embracing this rapidly developing technology. Having delivered over 15,000 coveted treasures since that time, Saturday's Toys is pleased to partner with researchers and collectors throughout the globe.

Today, online offerings of archival keepsakes are presented in celebration of the times that allow for family, friends and neighbors to join in memorable gatherings that nurture the strong connections that bind a community together. These treasures are affectionately represented by "Saturday's Toys." In that light we present our adopted motto (with a nod to the Sherman Brothers): "Oh, let's go fly a kite!"
