This UV lamp is tested and working. It does not come with the two 6-volt lantern batteries needed to operate it. I tested it with a DC power supply and it works. The little "white light" bulb works but is fidgety, needs contacts tightened. Everything else... the UV bulb, switch, etc work great. The case is in very good condition, not broken in any way, shows minor wear. Comes in its original box with original paperwork. Battery powered means it's field portable, and that's a beautiful thing.

I urge you to click on the "Shipping and Payments" tab above to view your shipping options, especially on heavier items. The default option is not always the cheapest. You also have the option of choosing your shipping method when paying for the item, and again I urge you to take a look at your options; you could save a few bucks.

On average, I LOSE MONEY ON SHIPPING. I feel the need to express this because I am getting many comments like "Come on, you gotta be able to ship it cheaper than that!" No, I can't, unless there are unusual circumstances. The fact that ebay takes around 16% of what you pay me for shipping does not help that equation.

I can ship USPS or UPS. I can't ship FedEx; I live in a rural area that Fed Ex does not service. International sales/shipping gladly accepted through the eBay Global Shipping program.

I use almost exclusively recycled packaging to keep your shipping/handling costs down. I pack thoroughly, and I don't have many damaged shipments. It does happen occasionally, though, and in those cases I will make it right.

If you (the buyer) want insurance or alternate shipping, we can work it out prior to payment. I will ship within 3 business days after receiving payment, usually quicker.
