Description

This is an original, silver, "One Half Sol" from the Republic of Peru. It was one of three varieties struck in 1923. The 3 in the date comes with either a round or flat top and there is a flat top 3 over 2 overdate. Interestingly this non-overdate flat top 3 is listed as scarcer than the overdate.
