Description

This is a circulated but still presentable “Femti” or 50 Kroner note from the “Kingdom of Denmark”. From the series that was issued between 1972 and 1998, this one was issued in 1989.

Denmark still uses the Krone as its currency unit and does not use the Euro, having opted out from participation under the Maastricht Treaty of 1992. In 2000, the government held a referendum on introducing the euro, it was defeated. At the time of this writing, this 50 Kroner note would exchange to $7.19 in United States Dollars.
