This is a
replacement motor assembly with gear for the USA made Golden Helm or Golden Minute clocks. The motor is the right speed with the right gear and was bench tested for proper operation. This motor is a little bit thicker about 4mm than the OEM motor and has a higher wattage rating 4 watts. The OEM motor was a 3 watt.
When you install this motor, the bottom plastic cover will not fit exactly flush with the base, but it is not noticeable. I currently have a Golden Helm and a Golden Minute clock for sale on Ebay that has the new motor installed. You can see how the base fits by looking at the pictures.
The OEM motor assemblies for these clocks have not been available for many years. I currently have one of these motors available but can manufacture more if there is a demand for them.
