Description of item

After the ES-100, which was announced in 1938, underwent several specification changes and name changes,
In 1946, the P-90 was mounted on a 16 inch 1/4 size body.
This is the ES-125 model. Gibson full acoustic deep body standard size.
ES-175 is this body style with a single cutaway.

The ES-125 has a body style that makes it attractive with a more acoustic sound.

Its plump boxy sound and rich raw sound have the charm of a vintage pick guitar.

As expected, this piece is made from the wonderful high-quality wood that was unique to that time.

The extremely dry and clear tones, the sexy, vintage luster, and textured tones are exquisite.
The lows are very thick and the raw sound is outstanding, but the rise is also good.
The sound is clean, tight, and clear without being muffled.
The wood grain, color, and way the conductors are inserted are also wonderful.

This is an ES-125 made in 1965 and equipped with a P-90. Narrow neck (nut width approx. 40mm) specifications.

It is reasonably priced as consumables are often replaced, but it is in very good playing condition and can be played with low string heights without any problems.
The neck is in particularly good condition and feels almost straight.
The truss rod has plenty of room, and about 70% of the frets remain.
The electrical system is also in good condition.

Replacement parts are pickguard, knob x 2, strap pin, pickup cover, and bridge.
There are two replacement holes under the bridge.

Although there are some weather-related signs and discoloration due to its age, there are few scratches considering it has been around 60 years, and it is in good condition as an instrument.
The P-90 at that time had a good response, a thick, hot sound, and was a full acoustic guitar that could be used in a wide range of genres.
It's reasonably priced because it's a replacement part, but the narrow neck and low setting make it easy to play, so it's one that I would recommend to anyone.

Comes with non-original hard case.
