There are four pieces of paper here, coming from a cache of documents originating in the Rutland County Vermont area between the 1840s-1870s, though there is no location on any of these documents. One has a date that looks like 1863, but the others don’t contain dates. Two look like they are itemized bills related to cases relating to James Hastings (we found a James Hastings who was born and died in Rutland County 1820-1895), so it looks like that tracks. Two other pieces look similar, one that’s an invoice and another with debts collected and owed — but neither have any cases attached to it. They may or may not be connected to the Hastings documents.
