Rare & Stunning Antique Framed Photograph Edwardian Lady in Evening Gown c1905

 

This portrait is a beautiful and unusual example of portrait of a lady in her evening gown and jewels, looking very stately. The photo has then been developed and printed against a cream background, similar to a silhouette, but retaining all the details.

  

The photo retains its original frame, the back paper is original, but is cracking, there is an inscription  hand written, sadly I can't quite make it out.

  

The frame measures approx. 17.7cm by 13.1cm by 1.2cm.
