Beautiful set issued as part of the "Prague Castle" - Pražský Hrad series

Stamps depict:

  • Prince Břetislav I (ruled 1034 to 1055), stone sarcophagus figure of the Přemyslid tombs in St. Vitus Cathedral, 1376-1377 created by the German sculptor Peter Parler;
  • Romanesque knocker with a lion's head handle, artistically forged center piece from a door of the St. Wenceslas Chapel in St. Vitus Cathedral.
