Difference between fog lights and headlights

Headlights (especially high beam headlights) compared to fog lights tend to reflect back in a driver’s eyes. This type of dangerous situation can be avoided, fog lights are completely different from headlights. These lights have a unique beam shape, which usually looks like a narrow bar.

Fog lights as appeared from the name are developed for use in dangerously thick fog. It can also be used for other conditions in which visibility is severely limited, aim the lights at a steeper angle in a bar shape, which is what fog lights are designed to do.

Fog lights can be useful when it comes to poor visibility conditions caused by rain, fog, snow, or even an excessive amount of dust in the air, which unique beam shape is easier to cut through the fog and light up the surface of the road so that drivers can see well enough to stay on the road and within their lane.
