This is a vintage black silk obiage scarf & black & silver silk obiime cord, originally intended for wearing with a kimono.

These items would be used with traditional Japanese costume, but also suitable as a silk scarf and tie belt if preferred.

The flat obiage scarf is made from black silk, with a subtle woven blossoms & streams design. 

I have lightened some photos slightly to show this. The scarf has unhemmed pinked ends. This is usual with an obiage.

The scarf has some creases from storage. It is unused with the original label.

The vintage obijime cord has a tassel at each end. It is a flat type of cord with silver sparkling metallic thread.

One side is mainly sparkling silver with black lengths. The other is mainly black with silver sections.

The tassels are a mixture of black and silver thread. The tassels on the cords are a bit scruffy.

This is a glamorous metallic cord. Both items are in excellent vintage condition. Both items have some folds from storage.

Obijime cord: length including tassels 152cm/59.4”       width 1cm/0.4” (all approximate)
