Vintage 1967 Postcard Japanese Gardens Durban Kwa Zulu-Natal Natal South Africa.

General description: This is a 1967 posted Vintage postcard of The Japanese Gardens in Durban North, South Africa.

Image on front: A colourful image of the Japanese Gardens on a sunny day. Two women and a man dressed in a shirt and tie can be seen standing on a wooden bridge over a pond. Three children can be seen closer to the water’s edge. A few thatched huts are present. A colourful red Japanese bridge can be seen in the distance. Many plants, trees and shrubs in the image. Some houses can be seen in the distance beyond the gardens. The image has a white border.

Back of card: The postcard has been used and posted. The caption at the back reads : DURBAN NORTH. JAPANESE GARDEN IN ALL ITS BEAUTY. This is repeated in Afrikaans. There is a message on the card, an address, and two South African postage stamps. There is also an airmail sticker. The postmark is for Durban and dated 16th July 1967
