The Meteorological Office was part of the Air Ministry and were responsible for managing the affairs of the Royal Air Force, and this barometer was produced for the War effort around 1940, for use on military weather stations, airfields or onboard ships.


Good condition for age and in working order. Some superficial wear, marks, scratches and tarnishing. 


T.A. Reynolds & Co. was a late 19th to early 20th Century maker of Clocks, Barometers and Scientific Instruments, located at 40 Percival Street, London E.C.1.
