Title / Description:  Large HC ~   Phallic Worship : A history of Sex and Sex Rites in Relation to the Religions of all Races from Antiquity to the Present Day by George Ryley Scott. This appears to be a reprint of the privately printed edition from the 1930s. The layout and text block are the same , but the size of the book is larger (11x9). Printed here in the UK, 1960s on quality stock

Condition: Very Good Indeed!, with only a few scuffs to the boards and slight soiling to the text block when close. No other blemishes or markings found.  Clean and bright pages, no dampness or negative odors. Never a library book. No owner’s names or inscriptions. The binding is strong and square. The Dust Jacket is also here and is in Very Good or better condition, now in a removable mylar sleeve. 

A remarkable copy of the rare and obscure work sure to please any occult focused book collector. A treasure trove of lore surrounding the cult of Eros and the role of sexuality in religion and ritual.
