This is a set of four 8" diameter salad / dessert plates by Pottery Barn in the Majolica Birds pattern depicting various birds in natural settings.  This pattern was retired in 2016.  These plates are in MINT condition appearing to have rarely been used.  There are no chips, no cracks, no stains, no haze, no crazing, and no gray utensil marks.  See pictures.

If you are both of fan of Pottery Barn and Majolica dinnerware, then you will want this set of plates!  These stunning plates were only offered by Pottery Barn for a very short time.  The plates feature a raised, embossed design typically of Majolica pottery.  Each plate features a different scene depicting birds in a natural tree setting, often with leaves and/or flowers.  The plates have a scalloped rim edge trimmed in a deep blue.  The main background color of each plate is a pale mint green.  The raised embossed decorations are highlighted with applications of color and shading in blues, tans, browns, reds, pinks, yellows, and greens.  These plates are beautiful and are perfect for display or for setting an eye-catching table!  The plate dimensions are 1" H, 8" diameter, and weigh 14.3 ounces each.  These items will be well packed in a heavy duty box to help ensure safe delivery.
