Vintage Washboard Wood & Crystal Ribbed Glass Farmhouse Decor

Glass washboards were estimated to have arrived in the United States before 1877, when Hermann Liebmann of Chicago patented an "improvement in wash-boards" with his idea of perforating "glass or porcelain or terracotta".

This board has beautiful finger-jointed top corners & 4 hooks have been added to be used as a functional hanging display.

Please see pictures for signs of aging & use as well as a crack in the wood (does not impede its use). The ribbed glass is in excellent condition.

Measurements approximately 23.5” x 12.25” x 2”
