A postally used souvenir postcard in support of Lt. Colonel R.S.S. Baden Powell's celebrated defence of the town of Mafeking during the Second Boer War (founder of the Boy Scouts).  Produced by Raphael Tuck & Sons in 1899, as part of their "Empire Postcard" series, No. 479; although, this card was postally used on May 29, 1901.  It has some corner staining and creasing.  Please see the pictures for exact condition.
