The Parcours ISO range have 4.5mm of Neoprene lining inside, plus 6mm of insulating felt on the insole to give exceptional comfort, warmth and dryness - without the sweating. Neoprene is the best insulating material known of today, and is commonly used in diving suits. The ISO Aigle boots feature the Gomma Plus upper material which is a mixture based on flexible rubber and is designed to stand up for many years to conditions associated with being outdoors, including liquid manure and the ozone. It is also resistant to the ageing process linked to long periods of storage. Fitted ankle support means walking boot comfort can be expected from these rubber boots, with support where it is needed most. Another feature of the Parcours boots is the waterproof gusset with adjustable tightening calf strap which can adjust to all calves and remains completely waterproof.

Some useful tips on boot selection:

Generally we tend to find that your normal shoe or boot size is usually the correct size in a wellington.

We have also found that it is best to try new boots on in the afternoon (eg after work) and best to try them indoors with the typical socks you would wear with them to get a true feeling.

You need to consider what you are going to be wearing inside your boots. Your normal shoe size should be generous enough to allow for a thick sock, but you should also consider what trousers you are going to be wearing and whether or not you are likely to need extra room around the calf.

Many people remember their first experience of wellington boots as a child. With this comes the memory of them being cold and uncomfortable and you having to wear two pairs of socks to make them more bearable. This is now very rarely the case as technology has improved considerably over the years. However there are still some important options to consider :

Lining - If you require boots for summer as well as Winter it is worth considering a neoprene lined boot. Neoprene in boots offers exceptional warmth and dryness without the sweating.

Sole - One of the key factors in choosing your boots - grip and durability of the sole are very important and thanks to the dual composite Aigle patented Actigrip rubber found on most of the range you get superb grip, comfort and a very long lasting tread.
