This is a traditional Japanese garment called "monpe."
It's made from 100% cotton, offering both absorbency and a soft feel.
The fabric is a deep navy color to help hide stains, and it features the traditional "Kurume Arare" (white hail) pattern woven into it.
The waist is elasticated for comfort, and the ankles are elasticated too, meaning you don't need to adjust the length to fit.
