this jacket has been worn (somewhat) hard but never put away wet.  there is edge wear.  the sun and life has caused the suede to change colors in places, there are gradations in the patina- see pics.  i have cut off the fringe but left a little "rat tail" in the back as a 'keepsake'.
i had to do it folks, it did not feel right to bring a fringed jacket into my home and i could not in good conscious 'sneak' it in w/o checking with my roommates first.  the vote was 3 to 4 - either lose the tassly bits or get the damned thing outa the house!  what's next, waltzing in all 'la di da' with a GD Ouji Board?!  why not a litter of autistic skunks?  how about i bring home a butt naked meth head?  where does it end!?  unless you're Davey Crockett you have no business wearing a jacket with all that silliness blownin' around- it is 100% going to get caught in something!
this jacket is surprisingly heavy!  i'm impressed.  made in the USA so this jacket was likely made before the early/mid 1990s, after which almost everything for Harley was/is made in China.  no armor but plenty of room to add some if you want.  appears to be double layers of leather on the shoulders.  all zippers work.  all 3 pockets are totally sound.  lining is clean with no odors.  one or two very small holes and one medium one (pictured) in the satin lining- and there are none in the armpit areas which is unusual.  the little gold and silver moto pin came with and stays with the jacket.. as does the big ass patch on the back.
if you need more measurements or pictures please holler..
take care,
