This is a beautiful sewing box.  It dates to about 1835 or so.  It is veneered in the most beautiful rosewood in excellent condition.  The mother of pearl inlay is all intact and perfect and the box still retains good shine.  There is the expected age related wear to the silk lining and pinholes from use in the pincushions.  There is age related wear to the fabric on the bottom of the box, as expected.  The box itself is in absolutely wonderful condition, there is no missing pearl at all.  The box contains a complete set of reels, a waxer, emery and tape measure also included along with a thimble and finger cap, which appears to be much newer than the box.  The cap to the waxer is loose and will come of if pulled, so it should be handled carefully.  There are the remnants of a depository label on the bottom, where the box was left for safe keeping at one time or another.  No date remains.
