The concert was recorded the 9th September 2019 at L’Olympia Theater in Paris, France. This will most likely be the only concert performance you’ll see from Swift in 2020 after her “Lover Fest” tour was canceled due to the resent worldwide pandemic.

The special also offered some insight into the creation of Lover, with Swift breaking down the themes streaking throughout her longest album to date and stripping down their live presentation. “A lot of these songs on this album that just came out, I’ve never played live before!” Swift remarked early on. Although the stadium shows won’t be happening this year, Swift’s fans at least got to watch her play some of her favorite Lover songs on acoustic guitar, grand piano or as the full-band spectacle that they’re used to experiencing.

It was the eight songs out of 16 that derived from the then-brand new “Lover” album. Live Performances from Lover for the first time include the tracks: “ME!”, “The Archer”, “Death By A Thousand Cuts”, “Cornelia Street”, “The Man”, “Daylight”, “You Need To Calm Down” and “Lover”

Filmed last September at L'Olympia Theater in Paris, France, Swift performs songs from her award-winning album "Lover" to an intimate crowd of fans from 37 countries, traveling to the City of Love for this once-in-a-lifetime concert. The musical event gives fans unprecedented access to behind-the-scenes moments with the artist and marks her only concert performance this year, after her Lover Fest tour was canceled due to the pandemic.
