Choosing the best roller skate wheel

Choosing the best roller skate wheels boils down to high-quality features. You want your wheels to be durable while also having excellent grip and roll. Many wheels on the market are made with low-quality urethane and they may grip well but lack roll or they may have good rebound but wear out quickly. If you’re looking for the best skate wheels, you need a trustworthy brand like Bont who only manufacture wheels using the best urethane.

The Bont Glide replacement roller skate wheel is an excellent upgrade for your outdoor roller skates and is suitable for all levels of skater. The Glide roller skate wheel glides smoothly across many outdoor surfaces including asphalt and concrete. The wheel's hardness is rated at 78a which is a good hardness for all types of skating surfaces including rough and smooth surfaces. A harder wheel such as 83a will roll better on very smooth surfaces but not as well on rough surfaces.

These replacement roller skate wheels will fit all brands of roller skates including Bont, Moxi, Riedell, Impala, Jackson, Sure-Grip, and Chaya.

HISTORY

Bont was founded in Sydney in 1975 when Inze Bont, a recreational speed skater decided to fiberglass the back of his leather speed skates to gain more support. Bont was the first footwear manufacturer to use exotic material like fiberglass in 1974, Kevlar in 1986 and Carbon Fiber in 1989, and the first to use heat moldable resins and thermoplastics. In the 1980's Bont dominated the quad racing scene with the lightest and strongest boots on the market thanks to our unique one-piece manufacturing technique. Bont was the first quad skate company to use lace covers, velcro, and aluminum strengtheners in the boots.
