Stunning ART DECO Tea Trio GLADSTONE CHINA Vintage PRIMROSE Floral ANTIQUE Chintz

• Crafted by George Proctor & Co at the Gladstone pottery in Longton, Staffordshire in the late 1930s
• White background decorated with a gorgeous floral chintz design that affords considerable coverage of each piece - an abundance of hand painted primrose flowers in shades of yellow with red jewelled raised stamens and framed by green foliage; there are additional flowers on the interior brim of the cup; the plate is square in shape with gently curved corners; the rims of each piece are finished with fine gold trims
• Cup measures 3" (7 cm) deep; just over 3" (8 cm) wide; saucer 5.6" (14 cm) wide; plate 6" (15 cm) wide
• Condition report - free from cracks, crazing and chips; colours still clear and vibrant
