A vintage, and rare, Amplion AU4-X 2000Ω bakelite speaker driver with horn. This is a UK made item.
I cannot get this to make any sound, so I will sell it ‘for parts or not working’. It is probably open circuit as are most of these. The coil could be re-wound, but to do so would be fiddly.
The horn is made from a form of metal and is painted. I can’t see any dings to the horn but there may be some. The paint is degrading and the rubber gasketts are also degrading (to be expected after 90+ years).
