Matured in Burgundy coopered French oak barriques for a period of 14 months, this attractive Shiraz displays a ruby-red colour with dark hues along the edges. The scintillating nose exudes lifted aromas of blueberries, raspberries, black pepper and liquorice. These fragrances coupled with spicy vanillin oak undertones, give way to a palate filled with intense fruit flavours. Balanced and supported by firm tannins and a soft acidity, this medium to full bodied Shiraz culminates in a long and captivating finish. It has been crafted to relish upon release but will benefit from an extended cellaring period of 10 to 15 years. Drink this wonderful red wine with cauliflower steaks, dark chocolates and brisket.
