After doing my research this was the most accurate with color kit.
I ended up forking over for the Luxury kit which has the color Kit and two silicone socks for protection and gives you a firm grip.
Because I 3-d print I made a handle for it which tames the cable that WILL get in the way of scans and re-routes the cable to the bottom. I redesigned a Thingiverse handle to give it the clearance to use the silicone protective sock.
I was very happy with it however I never did use the color kit still in box.
The Color kit comes with a light box which plugs the wire harness to a LED light bar. I did utilize the box for photographing some jewelry my wife had for sale.
I upgraded the turntable cable to be switched on or off. The turntable runs constantly when the scanner is plugged in even at idle which is a little irritating when uploading files etc. which prompted me to purchase a USB with switch...Much nicer.
The Lighting kit allows you to upgrade your scans so you can sell the file to third party's for use in film and video production.
The best part of this scanner that sets it apart from similar units is that Creality upgrades their software to bring in new features.
