Four cups & 3 saucers in the "Le Ballon" pattern based on the watercolors of Jean Mercier - White vitro porcelain (similar to ironstone) cups are decorated inside and on both sides with different vividly colored hot air ballons. The saucers are trimmed with narrow blue grey lines.(There are four cups but only 3 saucers. The extra cup is a freebie that I thought a buyer might want for an extra but it was not included in the price or the postage.)
Although pre-owned, all seven pieces are in excellent condition with no damage or signs of use. The bottoms of the cups and the backs of the saucers are stamped as shown in the photos.
