Antique Edwardian scientific instrument – Horse Power
Computer for Steam, Gas and Oil Engines, by Henry A Golding, published by Charles
Griffin & Co of London in 1908. Consists
of a cardboard square with three rotating circular dials pivoted on a brass
ring. Comes with accompanying 12 page
instruction manual. The gauge measures
approx. 17cm square. The varnish /
lacquer finish has yellowed with age, and there is a little warping to the
card, but generally in good condition.
