This is a vintage 1982 Yamaha YZ490J motocross motorcycle, manufactured in Japan in 1982 for the Europe and UK market. It is a genuine 1982 YZ490J matching frame and engine number prefix bike (5X6).

Its had a loving restoration and would be a great addition to anyone's motorcycle collection.
The white and red color of this motorbike makes it stand out from the normal yellow and black YZ's of that period.
Don't miss out on this opportunity to own a piece of Yamaha history in the UK.
In my opinion this is probably one of the nicest YZ490J in the UK, and I'm truly gutted that its got to go, so I'm open to genuine sensible offers....

The only reason I am regretfully selling and now re-listing this bike is because we are moving to Australia so it REALLY must go to its new home and open to all sensible offers.....

The bike is sold "as seen and as is", with "no implied or expressed warranty" as its a high performance competition bike.
There will be no test rides as this is a high performance off-road competition classic and has been restored at a lot of cost with where possible genuine parts used or retained etc

-Payment terms strictly by Bank Transfer Only. No Pay Pal, No Cheque's, No Cash.
-Collection & Payment in Person Preferred.
-If the buyer wished to get the bike collected by a courier and or bike freight, that is fine, however I will need to see advance ID of who is collecting the bike and vehicle registration of the collecting vehicle. The collection payment and payment of the bike is all at the buyers cost and liability. I will not let the bike go out of our sight until I have received cleared funds in full via bank transfer.

Unfortunately I am relisting this bike due to time-wasters, so please consider the point below for this sale :

Please do not ask me what my lowest price is before you have even seen the bike, as I won't respond, just make a genuine offer via eBay.

If you say you are coming to view the bike then please come, but confirm via eBay email, as like most people I'm not here to be messed around by people saying they will come and don't turn up.

There is no DVLA registration documents as its an off-road motocross bike and its " not road legal " its a competition bike, so please don't contact me and ask about a V5C in my name as I wont respond.
