This listing is for a Hornby GWR No. 2 Special tank locomotive.

When I bought it, it was described as being in working order, but arrived in this condition, so I’m listing it as for spares or repair.

All four driving wheels are badly fatigued and one, as you can see from the photos has broken into two parts. I guess it could be glued back together if the loco were only ever going to be a static display piece.

The mechanism winds up but obviously I cannot test it on track, so don’t know how strongly it will run.

If it doesn’t sell complete, then I may be willing to break it for spares. The body is generally straight and the bogie and pony wheels are in reasonably good condition.
