For your consideration, Dr4 Watches has on offer a very, very rare to the market Furlan Marri "Farro" --- a never to be made again, very limited edition, first edition Furlan Marri timepiece.   With classic good looks inspired by designs of haute-horology legends such as Patek's iconic 1463 reference, this Farro reference is as timeless in appearance as one can find.  Of course, the use of a modern Seiko mecha-quartz brings grab and go convenience and allowed Furlan Marri to focus on providing most of the value on the eye-catching elements of the timepiece:  the dial, the case and the straps.

Of course we are bringing the best value on the internet because we tirelessly source our inventory and inspect very closely upon receipt for quality and authenticity.

We are extremely thorough in our listings and we still absolutely encourage questions regarding the timepieces.  If you have questions regarding the specifications, provenance, history, etc., no problem.  Just ask if you have a question!

We only deal in 100% real watches because reputation is critical for us and in this industry in particular.  We always have the inventory in our possession.  We do not do the broker thing.

The condition of this watch is as follows:  Outstanding condition with all of the great supporting collateral that you see!

Because we only want timepiece customers who are delighted with their purchase, we strive to add some additional insight to help you make a great timepiece decision.

With that in mind, some additional considerations about this watch include:

1.     This watch is a contemporary man's business watch size at 38mm works well on average and larger male wrists and as an oversized but cool play for a female as well.  I can recommend this watch for somebody with a wrist size of 6+1/2 inches in circumference and larger.  I have an average size wrist and this watch works well.  It is a perfect - absolutely perfect - sized for a modern timepiece that wants to strike a balance between a vintage aesthetic and readability.  In the traditional and beautiful gold color casing and black dial colorway, the timepiece wears true to form from a sizing perspective.  It does have a strong wrist-presence as luxurious gold colored case and black dial configurations tend to do.  It has that "old money" or "executive" look and feel.

2.  The straps, both in the brown and black, are  very well done and a big part of the value proposition for this timepieces.  It came with the brown strap but because I like to wear a lot of black I added the black perforated "rally strap" as well.  This beauty even looks good with a black t-shirt, black leather jacket and an overall monocromatic outfit.  I often like to dress simply and in dark colors and let my timepiece bring the visual interest.  This one does a great job of providing that flair with its strong wrist presence.

3.  The twin register dial with the doctor's asthomometer (5 respirations) inner rehaut scale is a decided vintage, throwback to the 1950's vibe that is beautiful.  The modern twist is that the right subregister is a 24 hour indicator while the left subregister is the minute counter for the chronograph.

4.  This watch is one that is feature rich yet is also impressive, in part, through addition by subtraction.  No date indicator keeps the dial less cluttered.  The beautiful, simple and thoughtfully designed font makes readability a priority and also provides visual interest.  The dial is laquered and the registers are a high-contrast silver color.  The use of two awesome fonts on the dial --- Decimal and Henderson --- add a different bit of visual flair that is fresh but also iconic and timeless.  It all adds up to an impressive, rare and interesting fine Swiss made timepiece.  It looks, feels and acts every bit of a $2,500+ fine quartz watch.

5.  The mecha-quartz chronograph allows for event timing using the traditional start/stop (top pusher) and reset (bottom pusher) configuration.  As such, timekeeping is kept accurate by the battery/quartz operation while the chronograph is still mechanical (but again with timekeeping regulated via the quartz operation).  As such, the wearer gets the feel of a mechanical timepiece when using the chronograph but the accuracyand grab-and-go convenience that a quartz movement provides.

6.  The case treatment on this one is fantastic.  Not content with stainless steel alone, Furlan Marri coats this beauty with 4N of Rose Gold plating.  It comes across as a mix between rose gold and yellow gold and it is striking.

7.  Double domed saphire crystal --- with 5 layers of antiglare coating and a top layer of antifingerprint coating --- keeps visibility a key priority.  No expense spared with the coating treatment!  And a beautifully finished case back with polished edges and circular brushed treatment rounds out the features of this fine timepiece.

8.  Full set collateral, as pictured in the "everything picture" (#2) is also included.  I personally love the smaller and travel useful storage box.

We do not offer a warranty but will work with you to make any post-purchase repairs via advice on where to go and what to do (with no profit for us but paid for by you).  Everything we sell is working fine for all functions when it leaves our facility (or more specifically the safe deposit box where our watches reside).  In some cases, we can go back to our source and get the watch repaired for free based on our relationship and reputation.  We should always be the first port-of-call if there is an issue.  100% delighted customers so far and we aim to keep it that way.

Please examine the pictures, what you see is what you get.  The only exception is the English Bull Dog which we put in our group shots because we think it looks great.  The Bull Dog is a James Bond tie-in and we kind of really like James Bond.

And finally, we are an Atlanta based business but we also operate out of North Florida (some inventory in both places) as I like to include my brother in the business some.

We sell only within the Continental United States.

Thank you for your consideration,

Steve
