This is a really pretty pillow with a crewelwork floral pattern. It is hand-stitched on what looks like a piece of cream-colored, lightweight flour sacking. There is some printed writing on the front lower right of the sack cloth. I can’t make out what it says.

The backing material is different - white cotton?

The pillow is squishy soft.

It feels like the pillow cover was stitched and then placed over another pillow that has a button at its middle. If you press into the center, you can locate it. This is on one side only. The leaves and some of the flowers have been filled in with coloring of some sort (ink or paint?) to give them some dimension and enhancement. I’m guessing the crafter was working with items on hand.

Condition is good. There are some spots/stains (see photos where I indicate) There is a yellowing/discoloration around the edges too.

It is 15” square.

It has an aged, vintage look. Patina!
