Vintage 1979 Kawasaki KZ400 H1 Parts Lot Gauge Cluster Tank Handles Headlight Carburetor & MORE
For your consideration is this HUGE lot containing an amazing collection of parts salvaged from what we believe to be a 1979 Kawasaki kZ400-H1 LTD (?).
The original Kawasaki KZ400 was a 398 cc twin cylinder motorcycle produced from 1974 to 1984. The engine had twin balancer shafts to reduce vibration, one in front of the crankshaft and one to the rear, both moving in the opposite direction to the rotating crankshaft.
This listing includes the speedometer gauge cluster with ignition and key; Fuel tank with custom flames paint job; Entire handlebar assembly with leather wrapped tasseled grips and brakes, and attached rear mirrors and controls; Stanley 001-1269 Japan headlight; Pair of trim covers with custom decals/emblems (36001-1070 & 36001-1071); Kei Hin Japan Carburetor; Four smaller amber lights; Two rubber pegs.
This entire lot is vintage and salvaged; Estate found. Being sold as-is for parts or restoration. There is wear/tear and weathering/oxidation throughout consistent with its age and years of garage storage. Carburetor has some surface oxidation that should clean up fairly easily. Fuel tank has some dents/dings and abrasions, as well as some visible oxidation in the interior of the tank.
