Minerva Series
 Gustavsberg sticker still attached
The artist:
Edward Lindahl (1907-1986) was mostly known as a distinguished illustrator and graphic designer. But he also was a sculptor who designed animal figurines for Sweden’s leading ceramic factories. Edward designed the Minerva series in 1962 for Gustavsberg. It consists of three stoneware owls with swelling forms, earthy-colored mottled glaze, and slightly humorous expression. On the lower side, they are marked with the Gustavsberg studio hand and EL.
