B.B. Craig is the most famous of the Vale NC Catawba Vally Folk Potters in the last half century.

Born 1914 Died 2002. I was fortunate enough to visit Mr Craig’s & enjoy the excitement of kiln opening sales at his groundhog kiln.

This pitcher is a beautiful example of traditional Catawba folk pottery. Handmade by renowned artist Burlon Craig in North Carolina around 1995 - 1998 these pitchers feature a unique pattern in gray-blue-greenish glaze fired at over 2000 degrees. This stoneware has artist's signature is impressed on the bottom of the pitcher, adding to the collectible value.

This vintage pitcher stands at about 3.2" tall & about 2” diameter. Perfect for display or use as a decorative piece.
