Brief Description:
This is a beautiful and all-original late 19th/early 20th century Maritime Seascape Watercolour Painting depicting the majestic merchant Steam vessel 'S.S. Albatross' that belonged to the General Steam Company and was registered in London at the time this marvellous work was painted.
Built-in 1884 and in service until 1923, the Ship is portrayed here sailing on the high seas whilst flying The British Red Ensign.
Titled S.S. Albatross. G.S.M.Co London.
It is a fabulous example of a bygone era.
Mounted and framed within the original gilt and glazed frame.
