Hi

Selling my 1972 Fender Reverb Twin. Just had top to toe full service at Rosewell amps. So now spot on and good for another 42 years!

Serial number A38797. Master volume. Fender serial numbers are a bit vague at this time but it is at least a 1972 as its got a master volume but not as late as 1973 as no push / pull.

Its got the blackface mod so oozes southern country just breaking up rock tones at volumes that are useable. Its a simple mod so easily and cheaply returned to factory spec should you require. The Reverb and vibrato work fine and newer original style fender footswitch provided. Comes supplied with all the required valves (JJ etc) not shown in photos but they come wrapped separately.

Its fitted with the factory upgrade of 2 x JBL orange speakers and work great. Weigh a tonne and worth a small fortune on their own.

Imported from the USA back in the day before variable voltage Twins were available and had a main dealer conversion to 240 volt. The transformer is in addition to the original 110v which is still in situ. So the amp can be rewired back to original USA spec by simply removing the additional 240v transformer.

Cab in good condition with some small tolex damage. Very minor damage to speaker cloth.

The flight case is used but fully functional. I would recommend a re-foam internally. Castors fitted no brake.

I can ship it and it has its own (road worn) aluminium wheeled flight case. But its going to be expensive as its very heavy say 35kg plus 10kg for the flight case. 45kg + total.

Please ask for exact quote for shipping. Prices quoted are also for uninsured shipping, Amplifiers cannot be insured for damage but can be for loss. If you would like loss only insurance it will be an extra cost.

I will make every effort to meet up within the UK for the cost of fuel.

Happy to consider offers from buyers within the UK, especially for collection/ meet.
