1954-55 Regency TR-1 Mandarin Red Transistor Radio. The Regency TR-1 was the first commercially manufactured transistor radio, introduced in 1954.This particular radio is in beautiful cosmetic condition but has not been tested electronically. Best assumption is that it's non-working so consider it a bonus if it does. Dial and ON/OFF knobs operate freely and smooth. There are no chips, cracks or hairlines in the case. Leather case is included and is in fairly nice condition. Sold AS-IS, NO WARRANTY. This radio is a "must have" for any vintage transistor radio collection!
